The members of, Frankie V and the Lonely Club, have played together in one form or another for over 20 years, and and have now settled in to create a powerhouse new album of nine original tunes. Their sound is a classic rock blend of guitar and organ and powerful lead vocal laced with a blend of sweet harmonies.

They grew up and nurtured their musical chops in the East Bay Area south of Oakland, home to power house bands like, Tower of Power, Y&T, Night Ranger and Eddie Money.

Over the years they've played all the major San Francisco Area venues, headlining and opening for bands like, Journey, Tower of Power, Y&T, Greg Kihn, The Sons of Champlin and Eddie Money to name a few.

To get into the top clubs at that time you needed to play original material so along with a bandmate he did just that and songwriting became his passion In 1980s he met Robert Anthony, road manager for Tower of Power and Heart, who agreed to produce a single of Frankie's original songs, “Waiting for You b/w I Want a Woman. While Frankie played guitars on the recording, Skyler Jet was tapped to sing the lead vocals. The Tower of Power horns arranged and played on the single along with a cast of session musicians. Shortly after that Frankie was drafted to play Electric and Acoustic Guitar on some recordings for Tower of Power.

Along the way he became a serious guitar collector owning many rare and custom guitars, along with the amps and pedals that add to making great tones.

A mainstay in the band is Rich Sylvester, keyboards and vocals and also master vocal arranger. He has been friends with Frankie since they were nine years old and have been playing in various bands together since then. Before settling in with The Lonely Club Rich did stints with popular SF Bay Area like, The Post Raisin Band and Delta Wires, who he still records with. Besides being a whiz on the keys Rich is responsible for the vocal harmonies that help define the band.

The powerhouse rhythm section consists of Mike Lencioni on drums and Johnny Valentine down low on the bass. Both have spent many years on the road and in the studio.
